What is the school’s policy on head lice? If the nurse finds lice in a child’s hair are they sent home and rechecked before entering school? Is the class notified that a student in the class has lice? I’ve heard that students have lice and are sent back to class. If this is the case how can you be sure to stop the spread of lice. I realize lice does not spread disease but to treat lice you must submit your child to a pesticide, which is not something a parent wants their child to be exposed to. The “super lice” you have to get prescription with is a heavier dose.

My 10th grader took the PSAT’s this past fall. Her friends are seeing their scores through a website called Naviance. We just logged into my daughter’s Naviance account (a website I never heard of) and the score is not there. Should all of the Shen 10th graders have their scores posted? Will these also be under Reports on the portal? How do I find her score?

Written by on January 4, 2017 in Grapevine

A. The High School is waiting for the College Board to send an export document to be uploaded to Naviance.  Eleventh graders can see their scores by setting up a College Board account.  The high school will be handing out paper copies after the break in homeroom, once received by the College Board.
