In regards to the bus complaint…I should add that last year the bus picked her up at 7:25 to arrive at school on time. why the huge difference when going to the high school. may be we were the last stop before school and now we will be the first? This does not seem right. if that is the case, make it fair and be the last stop on the morning and the first in the afternoon so that not both bus rides are and hour and 20 minutes long

How hypocritical can Shen be? Coaches preach that players need to stay out of trouble in order to play. Then they allow players who were suspended for drug use to continue to try out. I guess ithis is why no one ever feels they need to be responsible for their actions since there are no repercussions. Thanks Shen for going against everything I have always taught my kids.

Written by on August 29, 2017 in Grapevine

A. It is not a prayer room. It was an empty office space that was made available for those who needed a private space to fulfill a religious obligation. A student who needs a private place to fulfill a religious obligation can make a request to the principal at any time and it will be […]

Why is the special occasion dress code so different for boys vs. girls? It is especially noticeable for events at the end of the school year, in heat and humidity. The girls can be much more comfortable in light short sleeveless summer dresses and sandals. The boys have to wear pants, shirt, tie, socks, dress shoes. What if you make the girls wear dresses that cover them neck to ankles, stockings, and dress shoes? Sounds silly? Why can’t the boys wear nice shorts, shirt, and sandals?
