On March 6th and 7th, Karigon students in grades K-5 performed Peter Pan, Jr. Bravo to this cast of 96 talented students!
Brendan Wisniewski, Karigon 5th grader, took part in the fight against childhood cancer on Saturday, March 15th, 2014. This year instead of birthday gifts he asked for donations towards this foundation. Along with his birthday money and other donations he raised $500. Brendan shaved his head to show his support for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month at Karigon, Miss Caisse and Mrs. L’Amoureux’s classes had a visit from a pediatric dentist to discuss and show us all the ways to keep our teeth healthy.

Karigon Kindergarten had a visit from Scotia Glenville, “They Lived Along the Mohawk”, that brought hands on fun related to our theme on Native Americans.

WE ARE ALL ONE IN A “MINION”! Mrs. Reinisch and Mrs. Plouff helped Karigon students make “minions” and displayed them throughout the school. 
Karigon’s Fire Prevention poster contest winners were driven to school in a Joneville Fire Truck. 
At Karigon Mrs. Kniss' Class third made Monsters and completed writing activities about them on Halloween.
Mr. Corsetti’ s students narrated the book, Bucket Filling A-Z by Carol McCloud and Caryn Butzke. 
Karigon hold its traditional Halloween parade.

A Rappin’ Good Morning Program
Karigon Morning Program is off to a Rappin’ Good Start for our first program event of the year for students in Grades 1-3. Mr. B & Mr. C sang the Rap Song, “Whole Body Listening Every Day!”. [ ]

Karigon & Orenda students and staff practice the Duck & Cover emergency weather drill. As part of the yearly emergency drills, Karigon & Orenda Students and Staff practice the Duck & Cover emergency weather drill. Other safety drills are conducted throughout the year as a joint endeavor between the two connected buildings.
The Karigon Partnership Team’s “Family Picnic” was a huge success. We had great weather, about 130 people came and the kids all had a blast.
