Beginning September 2009, Shenendehowa has prepared
district-wide supply list guidelines for elementary schools.

is an effort to regulate the amount of supplies that parents have to
purchase at the beginning of the year. Please bring these items with
you at the time of your scheduled screening appointment in
September. We share supplies in Kindergarten so the only items that
need to be labeled are your child’s folder, zipper pouch and
backpack. Crayons – A box of eight large
crayons, a box of 24 regular size crayons. Markers – One set of washable
Crayola Markers, classic colors, thin, fine tip. Glue Stick – The large size
only. (No small ones, please.) The children will need four for
the school year. (Shop early since these are hard to find.) Pencils – Ten yellow Dixon
Ticonderoga #2 pencils. Please sharpen. Folder – A folder with bottom
pockets for home/school communication. Please label with your
child’s name. Tissues – Students should
bring one box. Zippered pouch – Zipper style
flexible pencil pouch labeled with your child’s name. Three ring binder – One inch
thick. Dry Erase Markers –. Package
of four Expo low odor ink dry erase markers. Your child will also need a
backpack labeled with his or her name. Please be sure that it is
large enough to hold snack containers and projects. Ten dollars for special projects
that will be happening throughout the year. 2 Heavy duty pocket folders

low odor (pack of 4) 2 Jumbo glue sticks: clear
only (no purple) 2 Pink erasers 1 Box of Zip-lock bags for
transporting projects and assignments: Girls: quart size Boys:
gallon size 1 Large box of tissues for
classroom sharing 1 Old shirt for art smock *Please label with child’s name. **Some items may need to be

and towel will be needed for three weeks during the fall when the PE
classes will be receiving swim instruction at the new Aquatic
