Shenendehowa High School is comprised of two buildings: East and West. Both are located on the main campus of Shenendehowa. Students in grades 10-12 attend the East Building and students in grade 9 attend the West Building.

Students in the National Issues Forum classes organized and ran a Book Drive to collect children’s books for the Ben Osborn Fund, a memorial fund founded in memory of CPL Ben Osborn who was killed in Afghanistan, June 15, 2010, while serving in the United States Army during Operation Enduring Freedom. The group presented more than 500 books to the Ben Osborn Fund during the high school Veterans’ Day Assembly on November 7, 2014. [MOREMore photos]

Shen High School has 22 students who have been named Commended Students in the 2015 National Merit Scholarship Program. These seniors will be cited at a school ceremony and will be presented with a Certificate of Commendation by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

The Shenendehowa SFA Senate is excited to announce the Homecoming Dance in HSE on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm. Tickets are FREE and available during all lunch periods in HSE and HSW from October 14th through October 17th. The dance is open to all high school students with a limited number of tickets available. This year's theme is Shen Spirit. The dance is semi-formal. Members from Shen's National Art Honor Society (Maia Loy, Margaux Hales, Carly Jacob, Emma Fishbein, and Rhea Mundra) painted approximately 50 faces of aspiring zombies at Leah’s Cakery in Round Lake. The annual Zombie Walk is a fundraiser for the local food pantries. Zombies of all ages set about the village and collect bags of food from all the porches. Congratulations to Shen H.S. students Taylor Abbitt and Jacob O'Shea on their selection to the NAFME All-National Music Festival. Jacob and Taylor were selected for the Chorus and orchestra (respectively) out of thousands of students across the United States. This is one of the highest honors ensembles a student can reach.
