Social Studies

Our program focus is the Western Hemisphere.  The students learn about the history, geography, culture, economy, and government of the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.  Our course of study will begin with a review of basic geography skills, followed by an examination of government, focusing upon elections. We will also practice DBQ questions. Then we study the regions of the United States, and continue through the year examining Canada and Latin America.
