Social Studies
We are learning all about transportation in New York State. We are studying the Erie Canal, railroads, and steamboats. We are also learning about women's rights and the Civil War. After this chapter, we will be learning all about government in New York State. We will learn about the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. Finally, we will be studying immigration and learning how people from many countries came to New York to live.
