The Middle Schools have made a concerted effort to minimize supply costs. All supply lists have been developed to have a total cost of less than $50, not including the materials that will be used all three years (section 2). The supply lists below have been broken into three sections. The first section lists the supplies needed for regular 7th grade classes (Math, Social Studies, English, Science, LOTE, Art/FACS , and Technology). The second section is a list of items that have likely been used in 6th and may be used in 8th grade (you may already have these supplies). The final section includes special notes. There may be other supplies required throughout the year.

2 Subject dividers (package of ~ 5)
1 Composition notebook
1 Package (12) blue/black pens
1 Package (12) #2 Pencils
2 Highlighters (2 different colors)
1 3 ring binder - 2 inch
3 3 ring binder - 1.5 inch
1 3 ring binder – 1 inch
2 Loose leaf paper
1 Box of tissues
1 Erasers (2 pack)
3 Package of index cards (3x5)

 

Section 2

1 Calculator (non-graphing)6th may use a simple 4 function ($3), 7 & 8 will use TI scientific (TI 30 XIIS) , Scientific may be used for all 3 years
1 Package of colored pencils
1 1 metric/standard ruler (12 inch)
1 Combination Lock (grade 7 & 8)
1 1 soft pencil case with grommets

 

Section 3

Special Notes:

 Each student may be required to purchase a workbook for his/her foreign language class (LOTE) from the Middle School Bookstore, prices TBD.

 English 7H (Honors) students may be required (at the request of the individual teacher) to purchase a vocabulary workshop book from the Middle School Bookstore at an approximate cost of $10.00.

 Orchestra students will be required to buy a lesson book TBD.

 Purchases from the Middle School Bookstore may be made by check payable to “Middle School Bookstore”, NOT to a specific school.

 An Agenda (assignment notebook) and a two pocket homework folder will be provided to students at no cost within the first few days of school. These will go into the black supply binder with some loose leaf paper and the pencil case.

 We suggest shopping early for best selection and to avoid the end-of-summer rush.
