Tesago School Supplies 2011-12

Kindergarten

Crayons – A box of sixteen large crayons.
A box of 24 regular size crayons.
Markers – One set of washable Crayola Markers, classic colors, thin, fine tip and One set of washable Crayola Markers, classic colors, thick tip.
Elmer's Glue Stick – The large size only. (No small ones, please.) The children will need five for the school year. (Shop early since these are hard to find.)
Pencils – Ten yellow Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils. Please sharpen.
Folder – A folder with bottom pockets for home/school communication. Please label with your child’s name.
Tissues – Students should bring one box.
Zippered pouch – Zipper style flexible pencil pouch labeled with your child’s name.
$5.00 Activity Fee for each child – This will be used for science, art and cooking projects.
Gallon Size Ziploc bags – 1 box per child.
Your child will also need a backpack labeled with his or her name. Please be sure that it is large enough to hold snack containers and projects.

Grade 1

2 Heavy duty pocket folders (flexible vinyl)*
1 3 ring binder (1 inch)*
1 Pencil box – rectangular, hard plastic (8 x 5)*
1 Box of Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils (sharpened)
1 Box of Crayola colored pencils
1 Box of 24 Crayola crayons
1 8 pack of washable skinny markers (Crayola or Mr. Sketch)
1 8 pack of washable thick markers (Crayola or Mr. Sketch)
1 Set of dry erase markers: low odor (pack of 4)
3 Jumbo glue sticks: clear only (no purple)
2 Pink erasers
1 Box of Zip-lock bags for transporting projects and assignments

1 Large box of tissues for classroom sharing
1 Old shirt for art smock*

*A swimsuit (one-piece for girls, trunks for boys) and towel will be needed for three weeks during the fall when the PE classes will be receiving swim instruction at the new Aquatic Center.

1 Pencil/Pen storage – zippered pouch, spacemaker, etc.
Loose leaf paper, wide ruled, 150 sheets
1 Washable markers, pack of eight thick--Crayola or Mr. Sketch
1 Colored Pencils, box of twelve Crayola
1 Jumbo glue stick – Elmer’s
6 Composition notebook (marble-wide rule), 100 sheets
1 Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils ten pack (sharpened)
1 Pens – any style, ball point, fine tip, etc., (blue, black) ten pack
