Grading

            Grades are computed using a point system.  Students earn points for both in class activities and assignments completed outside of class.  Points earned will be reduced if assignment is turned in late (unless due to absence).

            One person speaks at a time; everyone listens.

            Questions and comments should be appropriate to the topic.

Be Safe

            There is no such thing as a silly or stupid question.

            Use safety practices at all times.

Be Responsible

            Respect others and their property.

Home/School Communication      

            1. Grade sheet (on back) - should be in front of student’s binder and kept up-to-date.  Student 

                receives bonus points for parent signature (PS ) at the end of each unit.

            2. Interim - mailed home at mid-point in the quarter.

3. Parents may send a note or call the school and leave a message.  Teacher will respond

    (with note or call) as soon as possible.
