  • Our curriculum is based on the New York State Standards and the District’s Essential Contents and Competencies.
  • Language Arts is divided into several components, including, but not limited to:  Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking
  • We will be utilizing Holt's “Elements of Literature” in conjunction with outside resources.  “The Writer's Notebook” will be a major focus throughout the year and will be integrated throughout the core classes.
