School will not be in session on Monday, October 13th.
If you have not sent in your money for Camp Chingachgook, please do so by Tuesday.
School pictures are scheduled for Friday, October 17th.
Camp Chingachgook parent chaperone meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 16th @ 7pm in room 223. It is imperative that ALL chaperones attend!
Language Arts: Theme 2 - "Team Work", Week 1
Spelling - Endings /zher/,and /cher/. Pretest on Tuesday; posttest on Friday.
English - Simple and Compound Sentences.
Reading - This weeks story: "We'll Never Forget You Roberto Clemente." We will begin a novel called "The War With Grandpa".
Writing - We are continuing to work on our writing skills. We are going to start a piece that goes along with the novel we are reading. The piece will be about a special place.
Math - We will continue to work through Chapter 5, pages 78-82. Chapter 5 test is scheduled for Friday, October 17th.
Science - Our Measurement Unit ends Friday. We will conclude with Metric Length, Capacity, and Money.
Social Studies - We will briefly study Chapter 3 - Economy. There will be a vocabulary quiz on Tuesday 21st.
