Science

In fourth grade students study animals, chemicals, simple machines, electricity and magnetism.  Students will not only be learning specific information and vocabulary relating to these topics, but will also be learning how to be a scientist.  This will include skills such as following directions, collecting and organizing data, observing and describing properties, as well as researching and sharing information.

We have a state assessment in Science during the month of May.
