Dear Parents of First Grade Students: On the first day of school in September, it will be helpful for your child to bring the following: ·        Painting Shirt with your child’s name on it (an old shirt) ·        Crayons (8 Primary Colors Only) (regular size crayons) ·        Child-size Fiskar brand Scissors ·        One (1) large Pink Eraser ·        Twenty-Four (24) (Dixon or Ticonderoga brand) yellow #2 Pencils, sharpened ·        Pencil Box - No Larger than 6” x 9” (no zipper cases) ·        Two (2) jumbo solid Glue Sticks (no liquid glue) ·        One (1) Pocket Folder to carry daily papers (with pockets at the bottom)  (NO Trapper Keeper or spiral notebook needed) ·        One (1) Large Box of Tissues for the class (regular size) ·        One (1) Box of “Ziplock” Bags:             If last name begins with…             A – H  - 2 gal. jumbo bags              I – R  - 1 gal. storage or freezer bags             S – Z  - snack bags               *Please label all items with your child’s name.  Most items will need replacing during the school year.  If you are buying them on sale during the summer, you should keep a spare or two and have them ready to come in to school when they are needed.             Enjoy your summer vacation!  We are looking forward to seeing you in September!
