Dear Parents of New Fifth Grade Students:             In order to assist your son or daughter to get off to a good start in September from the very first day, we have made up a list of needed supplies.  These supplies are as follows: Materials Needed:    (Note : Please label all materials with child’s first and last name, homeroom teacher, and subject before they come to school.)             Necessary ·          Loose Leaf Paper – 500 sheet package ·          2 Marble composition notebooks ·          Spiral Notebooks – 3 SINGLE  subject -  one RED notebook labeled MATH  one BLUE notebook labeled SOCIAL STUDIES  one GREEN notebook labeled SCIENCE ·          Sharpened Pencils ·          One package of Blue or Black-inked Ball Point Pens ·          Metric Ruler ·          Colored Pencils ·          Markers ·          2 Boxes of Tissues ·          Scissors ·           2 Glue Sticks ·          3 Highlighters and one fine point green marker ·          1 (Seven Pocket) Plastic Accordian Style Portfolio – Labeled: Take Home, Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Literature, and Looseleaf in this order. ·          One separate 2-pocket folder for Music  Please do not purchase an assignment notebook or a binder.  We have ordered an 8-1/2 x 11 organizer for each student.
