By Jake and Melissa

*When matter gets close to a black hole’s outer edge, it plunges in quickly, smoothly, and quietly.

*A black hole isn’t really black.  They are many colors.

*A star that has more mass than the sun packs together more tightly and becomes a black hole.

*A black hole looks like a whirl pool.

*Super Novae is the biggest black hole.

*Black hole is called the black hole because no light can escape.

*Black holes are the darkest things in the universe.
