Cool Cat Facts!

An "ailurophile" is another name for someone who loves cats. The opposite is "ailurophobe".

Scientists believe that cats respond to women's voices better because they have a higher voice.

White kittens, especially with blue eyes, are usually deaf.

So as you know, I love cats! In school, we are having so much fun, especially if you have Mrs. R. I can't wait for summer! Summer is the best season in the world. In my world, with my social studies grades so high, my parents are going to be soooooo proud! Normally I'm not very good at social studies, but the test I just got back was really good. So, school is awesome! I hope you think so too!  -Carly

Never had a cat?

So, you've never had a cat? Well, I certainly recommend one. Cats can scratch, but not if you reward them with a treat when they use a scratching post! If you have the proper items, your cat might respect your furniture. When you sit in your favorite chair, he or she might sit on your lap and purr. That means that it feels happy and safe around you. But if it never stays around you, you might want to spend more time with it.

  So now, I hope you have the temptation of asking your parents for a cat. And remember, if they don't say "yes"...

You have a cat!

So, you have a cat. Good for you! They are so affectionate! But, do you have the right items? You should have the proper things to take care of a cat. Plus, you don't want to hurt a living animal. Check and make sure that you have the "stuff" you need. You should have things to groom, feed, and let your cat or kitten sleep well every night.

Just remember to check, maybe... every month, to see if you need to buy more stuff. Sometimes your cat is sick and you can't even tell! So just make sure your cat doesn't seem unusual, and you'll have happy memories with your pet!!!!!
