This is a sedimentary rock. Sedimentary rocks are formed when different objects are pressed together over thousands of years. |

This is a metamorphic rock. Metamorphic rocks are formed by a lot of heat and pressure. |

This is an igneous rock. There are two kinds of igneous rock - intrusive and extrusive. Intrusive forms when magma cools beneath the earth's surface. Extrusive is formed when lava shoots out of volcanoes and cools. |
