  Basketball is a really cool sport. Basketball was invented in 1891 by James Naismith. Did you know Michael Jordon once made a full court shot and broke the back board? Basketball is on ESPN on weeknights. Led by guard Fred Schaus, the Fort Wayne Pistons posted a 40-28 record in their first season. George Yardley became the first NBA player ever to score 2,000 points in a season. Dave Bing pumped in a team-record 37 points in a playoff game against the Boston Celtics.
