As part of our Social Studies unit about Holiday Traditions, we learned about a special day in Sweden. December 13 is St Lucia Day. On this day, the oldest daughter in the family wears a white robe and a head wreath with candles. All dressed up, she serves her family buns and coffee in bed. We celebrated in our own way in our classroom. | ||
