Spellers Choice Homework
You may choose to do any of the following spelling homework assignments during the week. You have the choice, but you need to complete 25 points worth of work each week. As you work through each activity, keep track of your score and hand in your work the next day. As soon as you reach 25 points, your only responsibility is to study for the test (if you reach 25 points early in the week, you will not have spelling homework for the rest of the week). Please keep this sheet in your assignment notebook all week long!

Homework Choices
1. Three Times Each write each
word three times. 5 points
2. ABC Order/Reverse ABC- put all spelling words in alphabetical order.

3. Add-a-Letter Write your words, adding one letter at a time (s, st,
sta, star) 5 pts
4. Spelling Conversation Talk to an adult using each word in your
conversation.
(Write words down in a list and have parent sign) 10 points
5. Sentences use each word in a sentence. (You may use up to three
words in one
sentence.) 10 points
6. Rhyming Words make a list of rhyming words for each of your spelling
words. 10 points
7. Word Search make a word search using all words 10 points
8. Original Story write your own story using 10 12 Spelling words.

9. Poem use at least ten Spelling words in your own poem. 15 points
10. Definitions write the definition of fifteen words. 15 points
