WEEKLY NEWS
News for the Week of November 26th.
The students should know all of the addition and subtraction facts from 0 to 20. They should know their multiplication facts for the factors of 0, 1 and 2.
The Spelling this week will be a list of irregular plural nouns. I will dictate the singular form and the students will have to write the plural. Check the Language Arts page of this website for the complete list of spelling words.
If we stay on schedule, we will be having a test on Nouns this Thursday, Nov 29th. The students will have to know that a noun names a person, place or thing. They will have to know the difference between a common and proper noun, a singular and plural noun, the different spelling rules for making singular nouns plural, and how to make a noun show possession. They may bring their English books home to study.
