Comprehension Skill: Predicting Outcomes
Phonics Skill: digraphs /ch/ and /tch/ and words with initial blends with l: (sl, fl, pl, cl, gl, bl)
Grammar: Review nouns: animals or things
High Frequency Words: air, animals, around, fly, live, soon, turns (these are the words that you child needs to learn to read "on sight"-no sounding out. Please help them practice, if they do not know these words. New words will be presented each week and placed on our Word Wall in class)
This week we will be revisiting:
"Small Moments: Personal Narrative Writing"
Chapter 12: Addition to 12
Vocabulary: count on, doubles fact, doubles + 1 fact
