Overview Of the Program

The Management Needs Program is a special education program designed to address social skills.  Students will work very closely with the district's behavior specialist. The programs main goal is to help students improve and maintain their social skills across various settings. While this is a special education program, students are able to be a part of the regular education classroom as often as possible, while receiving support from the program aides.  The level of participation or involvement in the program depends solely upon the needs of each individual student. The program is designed to instruct students in Language Arts and Mathematics as well. Students receive instruction in Social Studies and Science in the regular education classroom with aide support. Each student will be assigned a homeroom teacher and participate in all classroom activities with his or her particular class. This is a very inclusive program.
