School Store & Banking

As part of the program we realize how important it is to have students work towards a goal. Positive reinforcement and incentives are a huge part of our program. Students will hold a checkbook in the classroom and will be paid each Friday morning. Students will be paid according to how many checks they received for the week. Each check is worth 10 cents. Students will need to record their deposits or withdrawals in their own check book. The maximum he or she can earn is $2.50 a week. Students will be allowed to spend their money as well and shop in our classroom store. Some items students may find are DVD movies, footballs, baseballs, pencils, erasers, books and many other items. Students can choose to spend or save each week. It is entirely in their control.
