Mox

Mox is a male Red-Eared Slider turtle.  Can you see why he is called a "Red-Eared" Slider?  He enjoys basking under the heat lamp while sitting on his platform, knocking the thermometer off his tank wall and staring at the strange creatures that visit him often. (Sometimes when they are not supposed to!)  Although turtles are thought of as being slow Mox has proven this to be incorrect.  He is even known to have climbed up certain obstacles such as sneakers and legs.  Mox really looks forward to that time of the day when that special student gives him his food.  He has enjoyed the year so far and looks forward to many more wonderful experiences with his new friends.
