September: We will begin our math program with sorting and classifying colors and shapes.  We will also talk about position words.

October: We will continue sorting and also discuss patterns and movements. The students will be able to recognize, describe, extend, and repeat a pattern.

November: Our next chapter in kindergarten will be on geometry and equal parts.  We will be describing the characteristics and relationships of different objects.

December: Using prior knowledge about patterns, the students will be able to create an "It's a Wrap" performance prompt.

January: We will be making simple pictographs for qualities up to 10.

February: We will talk about one-to-one correspondence and count 1 to 10.

March: The student will be measuring different objects.

April:  The students will be exploring addition and subtraction.
