Week of Feb. 6

          Homework - Word Boxes and Dog book, Fill ins and Word Search.  Your child needs to say the words and spell the words in the word box.  Please practice the words using the activities on the back of the box.  Send the box back to school when they are ready for the next color pack. Happy Learning!  Please make and keep at home the Dog book.  Reread it for extra practice along with the other books.  Have your child do the fill ins sheet in pencil and the word search sheet.  Please return to school only this one sheet by Fri. Feb. 10.

          We are finished learning all our alphabet letters and sounds.  We are going to review them and do more writing. Please continue to practice the letters and sounds at home. We will be reviewing them till the end of kindergarten.

         We have been through all the words on Word List 1. Keep working on the words in the word box.

         Please continue to practice cutting on the line and next to the line.  The scissors is always pointing up!     

         Please continue to practice reading all the take home books every night by having your child read them to you.  This is great reading practice.                                                                               

          If you would like to order books from the Book Club, please return the order form by Wed. Feb. 29.

         Also, if you child is going to be absent from school, please call the office to tell them they will not be in school.  If your child is not taking the bus, please write me a note so the driver will know they will not be on the bus. 

         I sent home a letter about valentines and the list of the children in our class for valentines.  Just a reminder that this is a nut free classroom.  You can start to send in the valentines to put in our valentine bags.

         Report Cards are coming home today.
