Updates for Students in Mrs. DeGennaro's Class: (For the week of 2/13 - 2/17)

We will finish assembling our Latin American books.

On Friday, February 17th, we will have a Latin American celebration where the students will read the other books and also sample foods from the various countries.  Please have your child bring in his/her drink or food on February 17th.

Please be sure that your child is studying his/her notes every night for social studies.

Updates for Students in Mrs. Potter's Class: (For the week of 2/13 - 2/17)

The students each selected a project to complete at home off of the Tic-Tac-Toe project sheet.  This project is due Monday, 2/13.

The students will present their projects over the course of the week.

Please be sure that your child is studying his/her notes every night for social studies.

Strategies to Be Successful in Social Studies:

* EVERY night, even if it's not assigned as homework, read through and study your notes, handouts, and textbook

* When there is a quiz or test announced, study a little bit each night (do not wait until the night before to study!)

* Pay attention in class, participate, and ask questions if you have them!
