Over the next few weeks we will be doing Nursery Rhymes.  The three we will focus on are Humpty Dumpty, Little Miss Muffet and Jack and Jill.  We will focus on:

-reviewing letters and letter sounds

-vocabulary

-reading high frequency words

-sequencing the rhyme

-retelling the rhyme in our own words

-reading the rhyme

We will also continue to work on math skills, listening and following directions skills and play skills.

We are also helping the children practice their poems for the Kindergarten Alphabet Celebration.

Soon the air conditioner will be on and it can sometimes be quite cool, so if you could have your child keep a sweater or sweatshirt in his or her backpack in case your child gets cold.
