Asking a Friend to Play

When I am in school, sometimes I like to play with another child.

I can look around and see who I would like to play with.

I would walk to the child and ask, "May I play with you?" If the child answers "Yes!", then we would play.

If the child answers "No!", then I can think of something else to do. I could ask a different friend to play, I could play by myself, I could look at a book or do a puzzle.

May I Play!

(Sung to: "Are You Sleeping?")

I want to play

I want to play

May I play with you?

May I play with you?

We can play together

We can play together

It is fun!

It is fun!
