School Lunch: Please help your child understand your expectations for lunch each day. There are many adult helpers in the cafeteria but it is important for your child to be aware if you have packed a lunch or if he/she will buy lunch.

Reading:
Small group reading instruction has begun! Your child will bring home a reading book in a bag. Remember to keep it for two nights. After the two nights, please return the reading bag, book, and completed log folder. Begin a reading homework routine with a quiet time and place for reading and conversation. It is very important that reading homework is completed and returned on time for your child to get the most out of the reading experiences.
