MATH
In third grade we use the
Math Connects for mathematic instruction.
The students will be taught using a variety of instructional techniques.
Opportunities for both enrichment and re-teaching are built into this program.
Knowledge of the basic skills, problem solving, completing assignments, and
working accurately are areas of emphasis at this level.

Place Value
Money
Time
Multiplication
Division
Fractions
Measurement
Problem Solving
Geometry
By the end of third grade students should be proficient with addition (Qtr 1), subtraction (Qtr 2), multiplication (Qtr 3) and division (Qtr 4) facts.
