Counseling Groups

Counseling groups are offered throughout the year by the School
Counselor and the School Psychologist at Chango.

In the beginning of the year, all students in Grades 1-5 will be invited to
have lunch in small groups with the counselor. Mrs. Huntsman will
welcome the students back to a new year at Chango, and will be able to
answer any questions the students may have about what her job is here
 at school.

Other counseling groups that are conducted at Chango include:

Changing Families- for students who may be adjusting to changes in
their family including separation, divorce, death, or remarriage of a
 parent.

                      Changing Families Permission Slip

Friendship Club- for students interested in learning how to meet or
make more friends, or how to resolve problems that sometimes occur
 between friends

New Students Group- offered to introduce students who are new to
Chango to new friends and classmates.
