The
district, spearheaded by the efforts of Academic Administrator for
Physical Education/Health Becky Carman, has been working with the
Tobacco-free Schools Program for more than a year, to accomplish this
goal. The Tobacco-free Schools program wants to officially
recognize her hard work..."a special thanks goes to Becky
Carman! Becky’s dedication to the health and wellness of the
students at Shenendehowa has truly shined through while completing the
objectives of this program." The district is now in the process of communicating, implementing and enforcing the different phases of the program. More tobacco-free signage has been placed on the campuses and activities and events are being planned to assist in communicating the revised policies to all students, staff and visitors. Remind your family and friends, Shenendehowa CSD is 100% Tobacco Free!! There is NO TOBACCO USE allowed on school grounds by anyone, anytime!
