Renzulli Learning is an internet-based educational tool which provides FUN, ENGAGING and MEANINGFUL activities differentiated to meet each student's interests and needs! It is available to all K-5 students at Shenendehowa. Renzulli Learning screens websites for safety and appropriate educational content. Activities and websites must pass an extensive criteria test before being added to the Renzulli database.

On 8/12, students registered in Renzulli were "moved up" to their 2008-09 grade level. Throughout Sept. teachers will update Renzulli class lists to reflect their '08-09 rosters.

Students	If you haven't already done so, you'll need to complete the interest Profile (that's the part where you're asked a lot of questions about things you like to do). If you haven't done the Profile, just login, then click the puzzle piece at the top of the screen. The Profile helps teachers understand the types of activities you like and the ways you learn best. New Students - ask your teacher if you should register yourself or if he or she has already set up your Renzulli account.
Teachers	All Shen K-5 teachers (including special area teachers) should register for Renzulli. Renzulli has awesome resources for planning lessons and organizing project resources for students. Start the 2008-09 school year off right! Use the Teacher Information page to learn what you need to do to use Renzulli this year. ALL TEACHERS must update their Renzulli class lists for 2008-09. Some teachers (K, some 1st grade and anyone who wishes to register new students) will find it useful to mass register students in Renzulli. Numerous Renzulli workshops are being offered this fall and winter.
Parents	A letter to parents was sent home with June report cards. Please read it carefully as it includes: student registration instructions (if students did not already register in school -- please don't register twice!), student profile instructions parent registration instructions (parents may register and view their child(ren)'s Renzulli profile and activities.
