Tree Climbers:

The Tree Climbers Program is designed to provide outdoor adventures for campers entering grades 3 and 4. This course gives campers the experience of a modified Youth Challenge program. In this course children will experience a two day, one night camping trip at an Adirondack campground.

Program dates: July 7^th–18^th.Trip dates: July 17^th-18^th.

This course is designed for campers entering 5^th – 7^th grade who would like the experience of challenging themselves in the outdoors. Campers will be involved in all of the activities offered by the Youth Challenge program. The session will end with a two day front-country backpacking trip in the Adirondack Mountains.

Pathfinders:

Campers will backpack through of the backcountry of the Adirondack Mountains, and reach beautiful destinations.  They will spend three days and two nights climbing, cooking and exploring the area.

High Peaks: 

Backpackers will spend three days and two nights climbing New York’s highest mountains. This is a challenging trip and advanced wilderness skills will be needed.

Reel Challenge:

Be one of the many Youth Challenge Campers to enjoy this new and exciting two week, hands-on, action packed fishing experience. Our outstanding instructors will provide campers with experiences in successful and responsible fishing, practical conservation, positive impact, and wilderness leadership. This program is offered as an Advanced Course with a three day fishing trip.

Adirondack Adventures:

Paddle Challenge:

     The Paddle Challenge will be a 4-day canoe trip spent entirely in the backcountry. Time there will be spent learning basic paddling techniques and wilderness skills unique to the Adirondack waterways. No canoeing experience is necessary, but because of the intense level of this trip, prior Youth Challenge experience is recommended. Canoe, Paddle, and Life Jacket, are included in the cost of this trip.

5 Peak Challenge:

This summer the Youth Challenge Program will continue to allow campers to explore the High Peak Region of the Adirondacks by offering the 5 Peak Challenge. This 4 day expedition will establish a base camp and from there climb at least 5 of the highest peaks New York State has to offer. Because of the intense level of this trip, prior backpacking experience will be required. Additional gear may be needed. Trip dates: June 30^th – July 3^rd , Program Cost:  $310.00
