Live Weather Images

This site has current weather images in general, current regional images, forecast maps, satellite imagery, European images, bodies of water data, seismic activity, city and regional Doppler radar, movie loops, surf information, and aviation information. One can calculate sunrise/sunset times, calculate heat index and wind chill here too.

UM Weather

UM Weather, part of The Weather Underground, provides access to thousands of forecasts, images, and a huge collection of weather links. This site has some great weather maps.

NCDC is the world's largest active archive of weather data.
Under Climate, Get/View Data, Surface Data-Graphs, Climate Visualization (CLIMVIS) and then select Global Historical Climatological Network Data and follow the directions.
