This site offers a preservice introduction to the professional opportunities in the U.S. Armed Forces. The authors suggest using a keyword that describes or is something you are curious about, like helicopters or submarines, rather than a specific job title.

This site is an effort by the Department of Labor and the Department of Education to link the educational community with the world of work. The user can find out what jobs are hot, how much education a particular job requires, what state certain jobs are located in, and more. The user can also "Chart Your Course," by selecting an industry and seeing what the projected job growth is, where the jobs will be located, and what the media salary is for these types of jobs.
