Coaching Positions
Aquatics Positions
 The District is seeking Lead Lifeguards and Lifeguards for
the Aquatics Center Pool.
Applicants must possess an American Red Cross Lifeguard certificate, or
equivalent.
Applicants must complete the Aquatics Application Packet
which is available at the Office of Human Resources, 5 Chelsea Place, Clifton
Park. In addition to the completed application packet, the following are
mandatory requirements:
Completion of an on-line
HAZCOM training session
Applicants will be subject to a fingerprint supported
criminal history background check in accordance with SAVE Legislation
effective July 1, 2001. Currently enrolled Shenendehowa students are
exempt from fingerprint clearance.
Students must have current Working Papers
Lead Lifeguards will work staggered 8 hour shifts (maximum 3
days per week).
Lead Lifeguards are paid $13.00/hour.
Lifeguards will work staggered 3 or 4 hour shifts; days,
nights and weekends (maximum 3 days per week).
Lifeguards with previous experience are paid $9.50/hour.
Lifeguards with no previous experience and student Lifeguards are paid
$8.50/hour.
