QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST
POSSESS...
- New York State teaching certification or must be
able to meet the qualifications for certification by the New York
State Education Department in the teaching area of their interest
- An
educational
degree
from
a
college
program
that
is
widely
recognized
and
accepted
as
a
post-secondary
leader
in
the
specialized
area
in
which
the
candidate
is
seeking
employment
with
the
district.
- Appropriate
student
teaching
and/or
actual
teaching
experience
in
the
specific
content/grade
level
of
interest
to
the
candidate.
- Written recommendations
reflecting
a
sound
working
relationship
with
students
in
the
content/grade
level
of
interest
to
the
candidate
- A
unique
talent
or
skill
that
they
could
bring
into
the
educational
setting
