The Superintendent is responsible for evaluating district trends and making enrollment projections for the district.

The Board of Education is committed to strategic planning so as to ensure continuous improvement of programs, services and the availability of appropriate facilities, staffing, and applicable resources.

In so doing, it is the responsibility of the Superintendent of Schools to annually evaluate enrollment and growth trends and provide projections to the Board of Education for review. Said review shall utilize the cohort survival methodology and demographic multipliers such as census information, historical school enrollment, annual live birth data, building permits and anticipated residential building activities. The Board of Education authorizes the use of consultants to provide the necessary analysis and reporting.
