Our primary
responsibility as a student-centered community is to create a learning environment and program that addresses the
educational needs of all students. The goal of Special Education is to provide
appropriate services to support students in accessing general education
curriculum while meeting New York State learning standards and preparing for
post secondary transition. Read our

The Special Education Department
works in partnership with all of our schools to provide the
leadership and direction in implementing appropriate interventions,
instruction and accommodations to students with special needs.
