This will be the third time I have asked this question. I would REALLY
APPRECIATE an answer! What is the elementary school policy to sign your
child in when they are tardy in the morning? The few times I have
brought my son into the office to sign him in and there are always
children without their parent/guardian signing in by themselves. First
of all, there is a space on the sign in sheet for parental signature.
Second, some of these kids are very young and can barely write their
name, let alone complete the entire entry. It also holds up the line. I
find it extremely rude and inconsiderate that a parent can't take the
extra 5 minutes to escort their child into the office to sign them in
properly. What is the policy and who should address this problem?
The policy is for parents to sign their children in at the elementary
school. The person to address it is the principal.
