Hello. Good Morning. I am a mother of a student who attends Koda Middle School. He has expressed to me the concern of his grades, and how he is struggling. However, when going to his teachers for extra help, he is often turned away, with the expression that they don’t have enough time, or that he needs a private tutor. After speaking to the principal, I was promised that this would be fixed, but had not in the past two weeks. We cannot afford a private tutor at this point. Please give us some other resources in which we can improve this situations. – A Disappointed Mother

A.  You can either reach back out to your child’s counselor or principal to inform them that the resolution was unsatisfactory or you can contact the superintendent.
