of study. It lists employers and what job they have open.

 

Best Jobs in the USA(http://www.bestjobsUSA.com) This is another site that lists employers by all

disciplines.  Good career planning information is also included.

 

Bureau of Labor Statistics(http://www.bls.gov) This an excellent source.  It will allow you to search the

Occupational Outlook Handbook that is published annually by the Bureau.  You can search by job name

or by industry.  It will give you information on how well the industry is doing, if there is projected

growth for jobs in the area, earning potential, educational requirements and much more.

 

Career Choices(http://www.jobweb.com/career_development/choice.htm)  This is also a searchable web site.  You can search by job title or job category.

 

Career Exploration(http://www.montana.edu/wwwcp/academic.html)  This site is maintained by the

University of Montana.  You can search careers by title or category of interest.

 

Career Magazine(http://careermag.com)  This web based site allows you to search the web information

on careers and career information.

Of Labor Statistics is an excellent source to research careers.  It  gives a good overview of a profession including educational and training requirements.
