Age

Eras of Elegance - Queen Elizabeth I's ascension to the throne at the youthful age of twenty-five ushered in the English Renaissance of 1558-1603. The graphic arts, theater and literature flourished during her reign, with William Shakespeare perhaps being the most famous writer of this period. Elizabeth's death in 1603 signified not only the end of the Tudor line of rulers, but a grand era of English history.
