The Victorian Web: An Overview (from Brown University & National University of Singapore) This is considered one of the most comprehensive sites on Victorian England. Headings include history, social history, gender, philosophy, religion, science, technology, authors, visual arts, design and economics.

The Penny Magazine - This librarians’ site of the day, aimed at the working class, was originally published every Saturday. It was a source of information on everyday subjects such as tea and coffee, descriptions of manufacturing, well-known places in England, including poetry and more.
