Geometry
1 Year 1 Unit
This Mathematics course is the second in
the New
York State prescribed Regents program
leading to an
Advanced Regents Diploma. Students in
this course
are expected to identify and justify
geometric relationships,
formally and informally. Students will
explore
a variety of approaches to verification
and/or proof of
geometric theorems and principles. The
accompanying
NYS Geometry Regents exam will be taken
in
June.
Required: Successful completion of Algebra One or
Enriched Algebra One.
A TI-84+ graphing calculator.
Recommendation: Not less than a final mark of
80% in Algebra One.
