Students in this
course will continue the curriculum
from the New
York State Core Curriculum started in
Math A, Applied
I. The Applied program is a three year
program that
satisfies the new graduation standards.
During this year
the students will explore such
topics as logic,
math systems, ratio and proportion,
geometry of
parallel lines, properties of the triangle
and graphing on
a Cartesian Coordinate System. Two
extended
consumer topics, banking and the stock
market, will be
explored. A departmental final will be
administered in
June.
